NJ-4 Josh Zeitz vs. Chris Smith-Q3$ follow up
Fri Oct 19, 2007 at 12:06:52 PM PDT
Just a follow up to yesterday's diary on this race. In the comments yesterday Kossack Steve Singiser mentioned that at $43,000 in Q3, with five more quarters, Josh is on a pace to raise $258,000. I checked back with the campaign about that, and wanted to get back to anyone interested. This is not at all meant as something negative towards Steve as a political prognosticator, I'm just trying to get information out there, and I appreciate Steve's comment pushing me to look more into this. Anyway, I'll discuss more after the jump.
Q3 Fundraising: Josh Zeitz (D) crushes U.S. Rep. Chris Smith (R) in NJ-4
Thu Oct 18, 2007 at 09:32:23 AM PDT
This is going to be a race, and we're going to win. In just six weeks, Democratic challenger Josh Zeitz raised three times more money than has incumbent Chris Smith for the entire cycle thus far. Josh raised more than $43,000 to $14,000 for Smith, who has only $204,000 cash on hand. Equally importantly, this district has gone Blue in three of the past four Presidential races. It's a winnable district. Join me after the jump for more about this race and our best hope in years to turn this district blue.

The moment you've all been waiting for, and 4 days before they are due to the FEC, Peters for Congress is proud to announce our 2007 Q3 Fund raising total!
The Peters Campaign is off to an aggressive start, raising over $217,000 in the first six weeks!
That sum was raised from over 430 individual contributors, a sign of the overwhelming demand for change in Michigan's 9th district.
Gary himself is very excited about the results, and is ready to get to work....
